Police: Data on Sabah’s illegals needed
As for the impact of data collection on economic security, ACP Ang (pic left) said it can help differentiate skilled from unskilled workers as well as professionals and non-professionals, and be well organised in tracking their financial movements.
Kota Kinabalu: Deputy CID Chief ACP Ang Seow Aun said undocumented immigrants can pose several challenges and threats to Sabah if there is no proper data about them.

It is also necessary if they are not to become liabilities but assets ACP Ang said when presenting his paper titled: “Immigrant Data Collection in Sabah - A Security Perspective” at the Foreigner Data Digitisation Town Hall forum recently.
