Kota Kinabalu: Sabahans who often travel to Kuala Lumpur for business or leisure should consider looking up into investing in an upcoming high-end residential property development called Verdura, the first phase of Bangsar Hill Park which is under construction.This inaugural and esteemed project brings a premium resort lifestyle into the urban setting of Kuala Lumpur, strategically located within the signature heart city of Bangsar with the most affluent residential in Kuala Lumpur (KL).ADVERTISEMENT
It is a home set up for success as a joint development project between two developers - a public listed KL-based company Sunsuria Bhd and another KL-based Suze Capital Sdn Bhd with Bangsar Hill Park Development Sdn Bhd, an established organisation managed by a senior management team with more than 20 years of experience in the property development industry.
Sunsuria Bhd Chief Project Officer Wong Chiew Meng said Bangsar Hill Park actually has three phases, whereby Phase 1 known as Verdura, which was launched in 2020, offers a total of 812 units of condominiums for two blocks – Block D and Block E. He said Phase 1 undergoing construction that will be completed in 2025.
“Each block has 57-storeys that house 406 units and 95 per cent of Block D has sold out while 50 per cent of Block E units have also been grabbed and the remaining units are left to be offered to the Sabahans especially those who wish to invest in property either to own or rent it out.
“Phase 1 offers condominium units with various types of rooms namely two rooms of 917 sq ft, two rooms plus one utility room with acreage of 978 sq ft, and three rooms plus one utility room that has acreage range between 1378 sq ft and 1478 sq ft for customers to choose from to cater their needs,” he said to Daily Express when met at a special preview for the Bangsar Hill Park project, held at Sutera Avenue here, recently.ADVERTISEMENT
To a question, Bangsar Hill Park Development Sdn Bhd General Manager (Sales & Marketing) Vera Lee said they are bringing the residential project to Sabah as they see the State has huge potential so as to give everyone the opportunity to purchase the units.
“We are bringing this project out of KL as an introduction to the Kota Kinabalu market and to let the locals here acknowledge our presence in the property industry.

“We want to reach out to them and bring awareness to how this project could provide a resort living style experience,” she said.
Wong said it is an exclusive residence that provides an urban resort lifestyle for families and expatriates within a friendly community with a simple concept -the project embodies the ultimate resort-living experience and will take the residents on a journey towards enjoying contemporary resort living.
On its advantages, he said the project is connected to major hotspots in KL’s city centre and its connectivity is another plus point where it provides easy access to get public transportation and accessibility to all the major highways via Lorong Maarof.
He said the most apparent one is a walking distance of 400m to Bank Rakyat LRT station which is one station away from KL Main Transportation Hub KL Sentral and one station away to Mid Valley, a direct track to KLCC.
Other conveniences, Wong said include near elite medical centres, popular shopping malls, prestigious educational institutions, famed eateries, and nature parks.
Meanwhile, a property agent for the project, Twins Property Sdn Bhd Managing Director Wincent Saw Wai Kean, who spoke for the special preview of the project, said the project is a premier location surrounded by ample amenities and hot spots within a 2km radius such as Bangsar Shopping Centre, Mid Valley City, Perdana Botanic Garden, Pantai Hospital, University Hospital, banks, Cempaka International School and near to University Malaya, among others.
He said the project will provide resort-inspired development facilities at Level 6 and Level 6m and rooftop facilities, cascading swimming pool, beach hammock, amphitheatre, a Pavilion, gourmet kitchen and multipurpose hall where residents can entertain their family and friends on special occasions.
