Kota Kinabalu tops with 52 of 99 cases
Kota Kinabalu: Kota Kinabalu recorded 52 new Coovid-19 cases on Thursday, making it the major contributor to the 99 cases reported in Sabah. Penampang was second on the list with 19 cases, followed by Sandakan (12) and Papar (6).

Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said 77 per cent of Kota Kinabalu’s cases were sporadic infections.
“As a centre of economic and social activities with a high population, the spread of the virus is easier and faster among urbanites of Kota Kinabalu, especially in crowded public places,” he said in a statement, Thursday.
