Display remaining Nomad at site
The remaining Nomad at the Sabah Air hangar similar to the one that crashed. Probably the world’s only Nomad still flying. There have been calls to place it beside the Sembulan Memorial as a tourist attraction.
LABUAN: Stationing the remaining Nomad aircraft at the Double Six crash site in Sembulan not only ensure that the June 6, 1976 tragedy will not be forgotten, but will be a historical tourism attraction.

Praising the suggestion by former Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yong Teck Lee, activist Patrick Sindu feared that if the relevant quarters do not act fast, the scrap metal dealers would grab it since the plane is now nearly 60 years in service and parts are not available anymore.
