Kota Kinabalu: The People’s Republic of China Consulate General here will recommend that China Construction Bank set up a branch in Sabah, said its new Chinese Consul-General Huang Shifang.

She said this in response to Sabah United Chinese Chambers of Commerce (SUCCC) President Tan Sri Andrew Liew, who urged for any bank from China to open a branch in Sabah to facilitate banking and businesses transactions during the courtesy call on Huang.
Liew led the SUCCC main committee and affiliated association heads during the courtesy call. Huang strongly recommended China Construction Bank as the bank has performed well in Malaysia.
