Kota Kinabalu: Efforts by veterinary officers to save a baby elephant whose front leg was amputated after being caught in a snare trap failed – it died Tuesday afternoon due to organ failure. It looked healthy and even ate and drank like a normal healthy elephant.
“However, the next day (Tuesday), it looked quite weak and depressed. Treatment and medication were done and it responded well.
