Kota Kinabalu: Democratic Action Party’s (DAP) Teo Nie Ching called the Government’s subsidy retraction on poultry and cooking oil as irresponsible and reckless.

The DAP Public Secretary said the additional RM100 in handouts through the Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia scheme targeting the B40 group was also insufficient at most.

“The lower income group should be called B60 by now because 20 per cent of the M40 group have lost their income during the pandemic.
