Kota Kinabalu: Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak said BN remains the best choice for Sabah given that the state is heavily reliant on peninsular politics.

He claimed that many are seen returning to BN's fold giving them the edge in reforming the federal government come the right time.

“In the context of Sabah, we have to show that BN is not a peninsula-based party but is actually being controlled by Sabahans themselves (autonomous).

“Sabahans need to understand that they are just under a bigger umbrella which means they are further strengthened,” he told reporters today.
