Rape of minor: DNAA for Filipino
Kota Kinabalu: A 26-year-old Filipino was given a discharge not amounting to an acquittal (DNAA) from a charge of raping an underaged girl.

Sessions Court Judge Elsie Primus gave DNAA to Abim Jalasiri after the Investigating Officer of the case told the court that the alleged victim could not be traced.

The case was brought up for final mention to update the status of the case.

Abim was ordered to be referred to the Immigration Department for deportation.
