SANDAKAN: Instead of splashing billions on relocating Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA), Sabah will be better off fully using existing airport facilities in Sandakan or Tawau and spending the money on more pressing issues such as water supply and roads. Member of Parliament Vivian Wong said this in response the State Government’s investment arm Qhazanah Sabah Bhd (QSB) having signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with property developer Berjaya Land Berhad to study the relocation of KKIA to Kimanis.
