Kota Kinabalu: Two opposition assemblymen have accepted a challenge by former Chief Minister Tan Sri Harris Salleh to move a motion in the State Legislative Assembly seeking to revoke the Petronas Agreement.

The agreement that was signed by Harris and Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan in 1976, on behalf of the State Government, resulted in the four oil producing states being entitled to only 5pc from the oil and gas sales.
