Kota Kinabalu: Some 300 local settlers of Kg Sinompuru Sg Simpang, in Sandakan, are pleading to the Sabah Government for leniency over a 432-acre application involving them and a company.
They chartered a bus costing RM3,200 to take 46 settlers from Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu to personally deliver their letter of appeal via the Ministry of Local Government and Housing at Wisma Innoprise, here, Thursday.
They also carried posters and banners.
