Kota Kinabalu: A brown wallet was found at about 5.30pm on the 4th floor of the parking area at Oceanus shopping mall on July 13.A lady by the name of Karen saw it on her way out to pay her parking ticket.
Thinking that there must be identification card inside, she picked up the wallet and took it to her car as she planned to go to the nearest police station to make the report.
However, there was no document or other items that would lead her to the owner.
“I was confident that there would be some kind of ID or name cards inside the wallet so that I could report it to the police… but there was none.
“I only found two currencies and counted the exact amount for both currencies,” she said.
Anyone who had lost their wallet may contact Karen at 016-8357196 and the caller must identify the two currencies with the amount to check on the authenticity of the rightful owner.
