TAWAU: A RM50,000 contibution by Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd. (SESB) to plant Napier grass is part of the effort to ensure that wildlife, especially the endangered pygmy elephants,will thrive.
The grass is part of their diet in the Enrichment of Elephant Corridor programme agreed between SESB and Sabah Forestry Department.
SESB Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Ts Mohd. Yaakob Hj. Jaafar said at the launching of planting the grass at Maliau Basin complex last Friday that the contribution is one of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which compulse under four categories namely, education, welfare, sport and conservation.
