Kota Kinabalu: Sabah MCA lodged a police report calling for an investigations into former Attorney General Tan Sri Tommy Thomas, whose letter to the heirs of the Sulu Sultanate was said to have plunged the country into a territorial sovereignty crisis.The police report was lodged by Sabah MCA Youth Chief Lim Kian On who called for Investigations to ascertain whether there was any wrongdoing on the part of the former Attorney -General.
In a statement Wednesday, Lim claimed that several press and social media reports suggested Tommy, who served as attorney general under the Pakatan Harapan government, had written a letter to the lawyers for the Sulu Sultanate’s heirs admitting Malaysia’s “mistake”.
