KUDAT: A 55-year-old man who went fishing in a boat in the sea off Simpang Mengayau has been missing since Wednesday.Kudat Fire and Rescue Department Chief Ishak Jabas said the department was alerted about it via a call at 10.55am on Thursday. The man has been identified as Abdul Rahman Sabran.
Ishak said a team led by Mohd Saidi Tabin rushed to the scene and found the boat at 8am on Thursday but there was no sign of the man.
According to the report received, the man went out fishing alone in a pump boat at 4pm that day.
