Kota Kinabalu: The State Tourism, Culture and Environment Ministry will impose a higher conservation fee on visitors to Sabah Parks, in addition to supporting coral-planting initiatives and raising awareness of the need to keep the environment clean.

The Ministry, through Sabah Parks, seeks to involve the stakeholders, local community and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in these efforts to further boost the State’s environmental and marine ecosystem conservation and preservation.

Its Minister Datuk Jafry Ariffin said this after officiating the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park’s 48th Anniversary at Pulau Manukan, here, Monday.
