No warning signs around Pan Borneo road hazards

SIPITANG: Road users here are upset with the Pan-Borneo Highway contractor for not putting up hazard warnings around obstacles.

Road user, Hashim Ali, said he nearly fell off his bike when his machine hit a pile of earth and pebbles left on the roadside with no warning signs.

“The stretch along Jalan Seri Menanti is dark at night and yet the contractor does not bother to place any cone around the piles of earth and stones.

“Perhaps they are waiting for someone to die first before they act,” he said, fuming.
