KENINGAU: District Officer Walter Kenson told that the Keningau Rugby Club will introduce the sport to secondary students in this district and help schools form rugby teams.“I have discussed with the District Education Officer in order to encourage the secondary students to come to watch the Keningau Rugby 10’s Tournament which took place during the weekend,” he told the Daily Express after performing the opening at the Sports Complex here.
The tournament, which was organised by Crocz Rugby Club and District Office were attended by 31 teams consisting of open men’s, veteran men’s and women’s 7s categories.
