Kota Kinabalu: A 2021 State Unduk Ngadau contestant said she found herself helpless when she was alone with the pageant's technical head, a former politician, who was charged with four counts of molesting her.

The 22-year-old alleged victim said she did not know what to do when Philip Among, who was on trial before Magistrate Stephanie Sherron Abbie, squeezed her shoulder and stomach at his office in Metro Town here.

“When the incident happened, I was very afraid but I didn't know what to do and only thought of going back to the hotel," she testified today.

“I could only show my uncomfortable face to Philip when he committed the act against me as I was not familiar with the place as well as the road and that I didn't know where to go.
