KOTA BELUD: Police have traced a few students involved in a fight which was videotaped and has since gone viral on Facebook.
It is understood that the incident happened about 1.30pm at a bus stop of a secondary school here.
Kota Belud Police Chief Supt Shahrudin Mat Husain said the video was taken on August 3.
“Police are tracing all suspects to facilitate investigations,” he said.
He added that the cause of the fight was still being investigated and that the case was being investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code.
“We in the meantime urge all parties to stop speculating on the incident,” he said, adding that any speculation or comment uploaded on social media may jeopardise investigations.
In the 36-second video, some students were seen fighting.
