Sulu claims not affecting ties with Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao
Pandikar and his entourage also paid an official visit to Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte where  they discussed initiatives to bolster socio-economic collaboration between Sabah and Davao City.
Kota Kinabalu: Efforts to strengthen relations between Malaysia and Philippines continue despite the private compensation claim pursued by the so-called Sulu sultanate heirs, as evidenced by the meeting held in the BARMM (Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) in Cotabato City late last month.

Sabah BIMP-EAGA Special Envoy Tan Seri Pandikar Amin Mulia during a stakeholders consultation  meeting last week emphasised the need to reinvigorate concrete business partnerships and undertakings between Mindanao and Sabah.

 “This is to sustain the development that BIMP-EAGA  cooperation brings to the EAGA focus area,” the former Parliament Speaker said.
