Kota Kinabalu: Efforts to strengthen relations between Malaysia and Philippines continue despite the private compensation claim pursued by the so-called Sulu sultanate heirs, as evidenced by the meeting held in the BARMM (Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao) in Cotabato City late last month.Sabah BIMP-EAGA Special Envoy Tan Seri Pandikar Amin Mulia during a stakeholders consultation meeting last week emphasised the need to reinvigorate concrete business partnerships and undertakings between Mindanao and Sabah.
“This is to sustain the development that BIMP-EAGA cooperation brings to the EAGA focus area,” the former Parliament Speaker said.
