Kota Kinabalu: A total of 6,000 kelupis (glutinous rice rolls) and peanut gravy were distributed to the community around Kota Kinabalu.
Sabah Broadcasting Director, Zulkefli Mohd said the distribution involved 16 categories of recipients under their social responsibility programme (CSR) in conjunction with the month of Ramadan, in addition to distribution by Ging Bubut SABAHfm and SABAHVfm through RTM Jelajah Ramadan Sedekad convoy.
“The items are distributed to 16 categories of recipients, including two charity houses, Rumah Amal Kasih Kingfisher and Madrasah Miftahul Ulum Tanjung Aru, Sabah Police Headquarters in Kepayan, Kota Kinabalu police headquarters, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kepayan Prison Headquarters and Taman Olivia Mosque.
“In addition, distribution is also carried out by Ging Bubut SABAHfm and SABAHVfm through the RTM Jelajah Ramadan Sedekad convoy,” he said.
Zulkefli, hopes the Ramadan Tour will continue with the Syawal Celebration Tour and the Kami Prihatin Tour.
“Through this programme, we can strengthen our relationship with the community while sharing sustenance with the needy in conjunction with this blessed month of Ramadan,” he said in a ceremony at the Integrated Complex of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (K-KOMM).
“I also hope that this Ramadan Tour will continue with the Syawal Celebration Tour and the Kami Prihatin Tour in the following month,” he said.
