Tuaran: Upko Youth Tuaran Division lodged a report urging police to speed up investigations into how Sabah MIC head Peer Mohamad Kadir (pic), who was born in India, was able to obtain a genuine MyKad in Sabah under a code that is meant only for Sabah-borns.

This follows a response by Deputy Home Minister Jonatahan Yassin, who is from Sabah, in the Senate that the National Registration Department (JPN) had not received any official report lodged against Peer.

Tuaran Upko Youth Chief Rayner Ebi who lodged the report at the Turan police station, Sunday, said according to the Royal Commission of Inquiry report on illegal immigrants, Peer Mohamad was witness number 116, was born in Chennai, India.
