Kota Kinabalu: A trader received warning from the Sabah Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (MDTCA) after surprise checks on the new prices of cooking oil were conducted in seven supermarkets around town.It’s Director, Georgie Abas said the trader was still using the old price tags and was told to update them immediately.
“Operations in conjunction with the implementation of the new ceiling price system on Monday scanned premises in Kingfisher, Likas, Kota Kinabalu, Tanjung Aru and Putatan,” he said in a statement.
