TAWAU: About 80 per cent of the backlog cases of surgery in Sabah have been cleared, according to State Health Director Datuk Dr Rose Nani Mudin.

“As for the remaining 20 per cent, we are taking proactive steps, including having surgeries on Saturdays, to reduce the backlog,” she said at the launch of the Mass Cleft Surgery Initiative 2022 at Tawau Hospital, here, Tuesday.
