RANAU: Various events will be held this month leading to Malaysia Day in September to rekindle the two ‘Historical Months’ of Aug 31 and Sept 16.

Aug 31 is the date of Malaysia’s independence and the day Sabah achieved self-government status prior to independence through the formation of Malaysia 16 days later.
