Sabah not ready to drop work pass ruling: Masidi
Masidi said Peninsular Malaysians can enter Sabah using their ICs (MyKads) for other purposes and stay for three months and re-enter later. 
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah is not ready to do away with the work pass requirement for Peninsular Malaysians working in the State, says Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.

He said Peninsular Malaysians need to respect the requirement stipulated in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63).

“The special requirement is part of the MA63 terms and we are not ready to drop the terms.
