SM All Saints records 100pc Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia pass rate

Kota Kinabalu: SM All Saints scored a 100 per cent passing rate in the 2021 Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) examination, which is a small improvement to perfection compared to 98.39 per cent back in 2020.

On top of that, the school scored a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.83, an increase of 0.07 from 2.76 in 2020.

Announcing the results at the school on Thursday, its principal Dr Mary Gambidau said their flying colours were in seven subjects where 77 students had sat for.
“The grade improvements were for namely Biology, Mathematics M, Business Studies, Economics, Geography, History and Malay Language.

“SM All Saints also produced a total number of 33 high achievers of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 3.00 above. Out of these 33 high achievers, 19 students obtained a brilliant CGPA 3.50 above,” she said. The top achievers are Christy Soo Kah Wai ( 4A, CGPA 4.00 ), Gee Meng Sang ( 3A, 1A-, CGPA 3.92 ), Lim Chiew Yee ( 3A, 1A-, CGPA 3.92 ), Chirsizol Mangulin ( 3A, 1A-, CGPA 3.92 ), Chelsy Deeronnie Lojinin ( 3A, 1B+, CGPA 3.83 ), Joanne Chong Shuet Yan ( 3A, 1B+, CGPA 3.83 ), Liew Jia Xi ( 3A, 1B+, CGPA 3.83 ), Charlotte Enola Victor ( 2A, 1A-, 1B+, CGPA 3.75 ), Charlane Lai Yue San ( 2A, 1A-, 1B+, CGPA 3.75 ).

In her speech, Dr Mary attributed the tremendous success to the dedication and hard work of the students and teachers with support of parents.

“I thank the Sabah State Education Department, the school’s Board of Management, the Parents-Teachers Association and the SM All Saints and SRK St Agnes Alumni Association. I hope that we may continue to maintain this tradition of academic excellence,” she said.
