The handing over of the memorandum at Istana Negara came a day after the Federal Court affirmed Najib Razak’s conviction and sentence in the SRC International case.
PETALING JAYA: An investigation paper has been opened over the group of Umno supporters who gathered outside Istana Negara yesterday to submit a memorandum requesting the Yang di-Pertuan Agong grant Najib Razak a royal pardon.

The event, which started at 2.30pm, saw around 300 of the former prime minister’s supporters gathered in front of Gate 3 of the palace.
