LAHAD DATU: A house and Perodua Kenari were destroyed in a fire at Jalan Dam, Simpang Kimbell, here, Thursday night.

Sabah Operation Movement Centre (PGO) under the State Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 9.04pm via Lahad Datu Fire and Rescue Station line.

A team of firefighters with two fire engines and a 4WD were rushed to the scene.

The incident involved a semi-permanent house and a vehicle.

“The fire was brought under control at 9.15pm. No casualty was reported in the incident.

The operation ended at 12.30am and the cause of fire as well as losses were still being investigated.
