Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 180 Covid-19 cases on Monday, a drop by 32 cases compared to Sunday’s 212.“The total number of test samples is 2,050 on Monday compared to Sunday’s 2,333. However, the positivity rate is higher, which is 10.20 per cent compared to 9.56 per cent previously,” said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.
Nine districts did not record any new cases in the past 24 hours.
Four other districts, namely Kota Kinabalu 91 cases (+19), Penampang 17 cases (-8), Sandakan 14 cases (-21) and Lahad Datu 10 cases (+4), recorded double-digit new infections.
Some districts that recorded double-digit cases on Sunday only recorded single-digit cases on Monday, Beaufort recorded zero cases (-17), Tuaran four cases (-11) and Tawau eight cases (-7).
A total of 176 out of the 180 cases recorded on Monday were in Category One and Two. Category Three and Four recorded one case, respectively, while Category Five recorded two cases.
