Kota Kinabalu: Miss Supranational Malaysia in the recent Miss World Malaysia final, Tambunan’s Deidre Ann Walker, paid tribute to her mother who lost the battle to breast cancer last year.The 28-year-old hopes her achievement would not only inspire others in Malaysia but spread awareness about the disease.
She said it was not only a hopeful battle as a Sabahan at national stage, but also another step to make her advocacy reach every ear and heart at the international level.
