Hoping to inspire thousands of other young women

KENINGAU: The success of Keningau Vocational College student Alesyah Asa, 20, who was selected for the top 10 best Global Student Prize organized by Chegg.org based in the United States will inspire thousands of young women in this country to do their best in school.

 “I was surprised, happy and moved when I was personally informed by Chegg.org that I was selected as one of the contestants for the award.

 “My mother Tiasan Patan@ Epatah was also happy and moved by the announcement, including my English teacher who is also the mentor for this project, Dr Sirhajwan Idek,” she said, here.
