One of the keys of its national economic transformation is the formation of the Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd on Feb 15, 2017, that officially took over the operation of Muara Container Terminal on Feb 21, 2017. The mission is to improve port efficiency and overall logistics in Brunei to fulfil its vision of becoming a world-class international hub, with assistance from China.
