PENAMPANG: A Penampang-based community movement suggested that a special Assemble sitting be held to allow members to come out with a resolution on the proper amount of Federal Government allocation that should be given to Sabah under Budget 2023.This is in view of the Sabahans, especially in the rural areas, who have been making pleas in social media for better bridges, roads, drainage and in some cases, assistance to rebuild their houses destroyed by flooding.
“Ikatan took note of the Sabahans’ frustration when it is said that only RM5 billion had been allocated to Sabah under Budget 2022 and several Sabah parliamentarians from the ruling government have also openly registered their annoyance on the matter.
