EXPRESSING CONDOLENCES
Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal, former Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Chairman from 2008 to 2011, paid a visit to the British High Commissioner to Malaysia, His Excellency Charles Hay at his residence in Kuala Lumpur Thursday to personally extend his condolences on the recent death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Shafie said she was an example of strength and fortitude in her role as a constitutional monarch for upholding democracy at all times despite having 15 Prime Ministers over the last 70 years. As Head of the Commonwealth, she will always be remembered in high regard for her calm and grace in weathering turmoils during her reign.
