NABAWAN: Deputy Minister of Works, Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup asked the people to put aside their differences and strengthen national unity.
“Harmonious racial relations are the key to the country’s progress and stability. In order to achieve progress, the country needs people who are dedicated in carrying out their respective duties and responsibilities,” he said at the Semarak Uniti Keluarga Malaysia Program of the Pensiangan Parliamentary at the open hall here, Sunday.
The programme was attended by the Minister of Community Development and People’s Welfare, Datuk Ir. Shahelmy Yahya, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of National Unity, Dr Kang Tong Hum, Director General of the Department of National Unity and Integration, Dato Hajah Norison Ramli, heads of State and Federal Government Departments and Community Leaders was officiated by the Minister of National Unity, Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique.
