“Through Ziarah programme, immediate help and donations can be channelled to individuals who need tools or any other need.
“Previously, the foundation has provided breathing aids, braille machines and various other equipment that can help make it easier for patients from the underprivileged,” it said in a statement, Saturday.
YBR Board of Trustees member Jefferey Nor Mohamed said through the programme, YBR visited several individuals, including Zaitun Ishak, 34, who has difficulty walking after undergoing thyroid surgery and the foundation would try to assist her with a hospital bed.
“Charity work is part of the YBR programmes and we will try our best, including providing the necessary assistance, such as wheelchairs, food supplies and so on, depending on the specific needs of those in need,” he said.
