Kota Kinabalu: Four agencies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sabah Skills and Technology Centre (SSTC).Sabah Science, Technology and Innovation (KSTI) Minister, Datuk Yakub Khan said the joint venture signed was timely in the effort to train and provide the best skills to meet current needs.
“This positive collaboration is in line with the government’s intention through SSTC to strengthen the level of knowledge and skills of the workforce.
“Companies and other industry players who need skilled labour are expected to do the same establishing cooperation with SSTC to realise that wish,” he said at the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony between Sabah Skills and Technology Centre (SSTC) and four agencies here, on Thursday.
The agencies that signed the MoU comprise of the House Sabah Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI), KKIP Investors Council (KIC), Sabah Freight Forwarders and Logistics Association (SABFFLA) and Kota Kinabalu Container Truck Operators Association (PPLKKK) .
Also present were Secretary KSTI Permanent Secretary, Zainudin Aman and SSTC Chairman, Datuk John Choo.
