PENAMPANG: Upko president-designate Datuk Ewon Benedick welcomed the proposal to appoint Huguan Siou Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan (pic) as the next Head of State.“Pairin has excellent credibility to be appointed as Head of State. He established a multi-racial party and became the Chief Minister of Sabah under that party,” he said.
“The Head of State is a symbol of the unity and solidarity of the multi-racial and multi-religious people of Sabah. It is clear that Pairin has the credibility.”
