Over 20,000 visitors at Royal Malaysian Navy Sandakan open day
A demonstration taking place.
SANDAKAN: The Fleet Open Day (HTA) of the Maritime Region Headquarters 2 (Mawilla 2) 2022 held at the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) Sandakan base attracted more than 20,000 visitors.

The main objective of organising the programme was to inculcate the spirit of patriotism in conjunction with the celebration of Malaysia Day and the 89th Malaysian Armed Forces Day, among the local community.

Among the interesting activities held during HTA Mawilla 2 include a silent parade, martial arts performances, maritime demonstration, visit to the ships of the TLDM Fleet, the Most Beautiful Traditional Warrior Clothing Competition, boat ride, career exhibition booth, RMN Sunset Ceremony, merchandise stalls, drinks and food.
