Kota Kinabalu: SM Lok Yuk’s cultural dance group, “Gentari”, emerged overall champion at the State-level dance competition held at Universiti Malaysia Sabah on August 26-28.They would represent Sabah in competing with Sarawak, Perak, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur in the national level October 4-7, at Malaysia Art School in Pudu, Kuala Lumpur.
SM Lok Yuk principal Lourdes Batin attributed the success to hard work and sacrifice by both teachers and the students.
