Elderly man missing in Sipitang forest
The elderly man is feared to have forgotten his way home. 
SIPITANG: An 81-year-old man was reported missing in the forest area of Kg Sungai Bubus Hulu Sipitang, here, since Friday.Fire and Rescue Station Chief Calvin Joe Jaefery identified the elderly as Asmad Bulat.

He said a search and rescue team involving the Fire and Rescue Department, police and Rela were deployed to the area following a distress call at 9.30am on Saturday.
Help from the K9 Unit were also engaged.  The elderly was said to have gone to the forest at about 6.30am on Friday and failed to return.

Villagers searched the area, including along the river bank, with no trace of the elderly man prompting his family members to alert the police after more than 24 hours of fruitless search for him. The elderly man is feared to have forgotten his way home.
