Do not mix religion and politics: Usia
Jamawi, who also serves as the Chairman of Sabah Urban Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (SUDC), said that Muslim communities and other non-governmental Islamic organisations must work together to develop Islamic teachings in order for the religion to be strengthened.
BELURAN: Leaders at the grassroots level are urged to put aside their political differences and work together on matters impacting Muslim concerns.United Sabah Islamic Organisation (Usia) Youth Chief Jamawi Jaafar said religious institutions must be protected and kept free of political influences and emphasised that political meddling in religious mattes only caused harm and discord.
