LAHAD DATU: Six men and a woman have been picked up for a fight in a case of lovers' revenge at a night market at Jalan Mawar, here, after a video of the incident on Oct 8 went viral on social media. 

Police on Tuesday said they launched Op Cantas to track down the individuals involved in the fight.

Following the operation, seven individuals aged between 19 and 28 were rounded up.

"They were remanded from October 10 to October 13 under Section 117 of the Criminal Procedure Code to assist police investigations," police said.

Their investigation revealed that the motive of the incident was revenge following an argument between lovers.
