Kota Kinabalu: It is all down to the wire as Sabah FC must win their final Super League match against Johor Darul Ta’zim FC this Saturday to ensure they finish second in the league and gain an automatic berth for the AFC Cup competition.On Wednesday, they managed to come from a goal down to beat hosts Sri Pahang FC 2-1 at the Darul Makmur Stadium in Kuantan.
In a tightly contested tie, both teams were unable to take their scoring opportunities until Stiven Rodriquez broke the deadlock to head in the opening goal for the hosts in the 86th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
