‘Allocation will help in expansion of Sepanggar Bay port’
The Federal Government heard the plight of small businesses by proposing a reduction of corporate income tax rate from 17 per cent to 15 per cent for Micro SMEs for first RM100,000 to RM600,000 and 24 per cent for chargeable  income in excess of RM600,000, he added. - Source: Borneo Today.
Kota Kinabalu: SME Sabah President Datuk Foo Ngee Kee said his group welcomes the RM250 million allocation as stipulated in Budget 2023.

He said the financial allocation would help in the expansion of Sepanggar Bay container port.

“It would help ease the challenges faced by many importers and businesses in Sabah,” he said.
