Kota Kinabalu: Linking Parti Warisan with “Projek IC” or any illegal issuance of identification card is “rubbish,” said its President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.“Where do we have the power? Do you think Warisan has the time to produce IC? It is the NRD – National Registration Department (that issues identification cards) and who is the minister that handles the NRD?
“It is Hamzah Zainuddin, the Secretary-General for Bersatu…and do you think I can control him?” he said after attending the Sepanggar Warisan election machinery launch, here, Saturday. Several quarters, especially netizens, had alleged that Warisan was involved in the issuance of illegal identification cards in Sabah.
