Sabah cabinet reshuffled following Wetrom’s defection
Sabah chief minister Hajiji Noor has appointed Pintasan assemblyman Fairuz Renddan to his Cabinet.
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah chief minister Hajiji Noor has reshuffled the state Cabinet following the defection of Bandau assemblyman Wetrom Bahanda.

Wetrom, who joined join Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) last week, was an assistant minister in the chief minister’s department.

In a statement, Hajiji announced that finance assistant minister Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan will take over Wetrom’s role.

Nizam’s post will be taken over by Julita Majungki, the current community development and people’s wellbeing assistant minister.
